Over 30 Years of Uncompromising Exterior Excellence in Central Virginia

The BTB Origin Story

Since our founding on June 1, 1992, BTB Construction Inc. has operated with a singular focus: protecting the homes and businesses of Lynchburg, Amherst, Bedford, and Campbell counties. We didn't build our 30+ year track record by cutting corners. We built it through technical precision, transparent pricing, and an absolute commitment to our community.

Bradley Barber spent years honing his craft in the roofing and exterior trades across Central Virginia before officially launching BTB Construction in 1992. The company was formally incorporated on December 27, 1999, and by April 2002 had earned full accreditation from the Better Business Bureau which is a distinction it has maintained with an A+ rating for over two decades. What began as a one-man commitment to honest, detail-driven work has grown into one of the most trusted exterior restoration firms in the region.

Meet Brad Barber & The BTB Team

When you hire BTB Construction, you aren't handed off to a middleman. Our President, Brad Barber, is deeply involved in the lifecycle of every project—from the initial consultation to the final site cleanup. Whether we are executing a minor chimney flashing repair or a massive $16,000 architectural roof replacement, Brad and our leadership team remain highly accessible, responsive, and accountable.

The In-House Advantage

Unlike much of the construction industry, we do not use subcontractors for any of our main services. Our crews are fully trained, licensed, insured, and deeply valued members of the BTB family. Our exceptional 4.8/5.0 employer rating on Indeed is proof that we treat our internal team with the same respect we treat our clients. This dedicated labor model guarantees strict quality control, immaculate site cleanliness, and consistent results on every single job site.

Certified by the Industry’s Best

We hold a Virginia Class A License (RBC, CBC, CIC, HIC)—the highest, most unrestricted tier available. Verify our license through Virginia DPOR. This allows us to execute complex structural projects across both residential and commercial domains safely and legally.

Furthermore, the largest building material manufacturers in the world have independently audited our installation techniques and awarded us elite status. We are proud to be:

• GAF Master Installers: Allowing us to offer industry-leading guarantees, including a standard 20-year warranty against algae growth on Timberline shingles.
• Owens-Corning Preferred Contractors
• CertainTeed Certified Installers
• Mule-Hide Specialists: For complex commercial low-slope and flat roofing architectures.
• Rusco & Lomanco Partners: For advanced energy efficiency and attic ventilation systems.

Maintaining these elite certifications is not a one-time achievement. Our W-2 crews participate in ongoing manufacturer-led training and must meet the strict annual recertification standards required by programs like GAF Master Elite and Owens Corning Preferred Contractor—ensuring that every installation reflects current best practices and manufacturer specifications.

Our Commitment to Your Home

We view ourselves as exterior envelope specialists. Our mission is to protect your entire property—integrating modern, sustainable roofing, energy-efficient replacement windows, and seamless siding and gutter systems to ensure long-term thermal efficiency and structural durability.

We promise every client:

• Consumer Protection First: We believe in proactive maintenance over expensive emergencies. We will always provide an honest assessment, even if it means telling you that you don't need a new roof yet.
• Uncompromising Integrity: We provide highly accurate, competitive estimates without hidden fees, bait-and-switch tactics, or sacrificing material quality.
• Respect for Your Property: Our crews are renowned for their meticulous site cleanup. When we leave, the only sign we were there is a flawless exterior.

Warranties That Work

We confidently pass along elite manufacturer material defect warranties, but we also stand behind our own hands.

As an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor, we offer our clients access to Preferred Contractor limited lifetime warranties on qualifying installations—covering both materials and workmanship under a single, manufacturer-backed guarantee. Every project we complete is workmanship-guaranteed to improve the appearance and long-term durability of your property.
